20 products that could be sold with Bruce Springsteen songs

Now that Bruce Springsteen has sold his music catalog to Sony for $ 500 million, imagine that the music giant will want to start getting that money back and doing a lot more with it. One way is to allow the songs to be used in commercials.

There was once an uproar when Michael Jackson allowed Nike to use the Beatles’ “Revolution” in a television commercial to sell sneakers. Paul McCartney, speaking with Bob Costas, said that it bothers him “a lot.”

“With the Beatles, we had all those offers, anyone who publishes those songs gets those offers, we had offers from the big soda companies, but we always turned them down because we thought it would devalue everything. To be seen as selling out, which we didn’t want to do. that our fans believed in us and we owed them some kind of integrity. “

“So something like ‘Revolution’ means more than just a pair of sneakers,” says McCartney, “and I think commercially it’s not such a good decision.”

With that being said, Beatles songs continue to be used in commercials, which you can view here. So if Sony were to go that route with Bruce’s songs, what songs do you think they would use to sell what products? These are some of my listeners and Facebook friends:
