North Dakota Server gets $700 Tip

A server in North Dakota just received a big Christmas bonus from a group of nice customers.

A 19-year-old waiter at a restaurant called Deaner’s Diner in West Fargo just received a $ 700 tip from a group of women who commit a Christmas act called “Shock N Clause.” According to a Facebook post from Deaner’s Diner, the women raised a ton of cash to pay for a meal and tip the rest of the money to a waiter. And the women found that the server they tipped definitely deserved it.

To the surprise of big contributors, their server was the perfect recipient of the $ 700 tip.

Deaner’s Diner posted that the server has been through a lot in life and the notice came at the perfect time for the perfect recipient. The server works at Deaner’s because it is his late mother’s favorite restaurant. She also lives alone with her younger sister, who is a senior in high school.

It is the season of giving. Why not give to those who serve us all year round?

As someone who worked in the service industry for 10 years, I know that this time of year can be overwhelming. Many stores, restaurants, salons, and more are dealing with staffing issues and long hours as business increases during the holidays. Therefore, clients should consider friendliness when they are away from home. And don’t forget to tip your servers, controllers, and anyone else you want to spread some Christmas cheer!
