“Weird Al” Yankovic Coming To Eastern Iowa July 2022

The best-selling comedy recording artist of all time will arrive in eastern Iowa. “Weird A” Yankovic will bring his ridiculously self-indulgent and ill-advised Vanity Tour with The Unfortunate Return Of The Vanity Tour with Emo Phillips to the Paramount Theater in Cedar Rapids on 19 July 2022.

Almost four years after his first highly acclaimed tour, “Weird Al” Yankovic hits the road with his The Unfortunate Return of the Ridicully Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour. One of his tour stops will be in eastern Iowa next year. It will make a stop at the Paramount Theater on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Weird Al promises to deliver a different tracklist each night, drawing from their previous catalog of 14 studio albums, meaning no two shows will be the same. As before, instead of focusing on his career successes, the show will feature non-Yankovic parody material. And just like the last Vanity Tour, he’s leaving behind the high-octane theatricality he’s known for and getting basic. No costumes, no accessories, no video screens. Just Al and his band of nearly four decades.

“Weird Al” Yankovic is the best-selling comedy recording artist of all time and a five-time Grammy winner. Their 2014 release Mandatory Fun was the first comedy album in history to debut at # 1 on the Billboard Top 200.

Legendary comedian Emo Philips will join Al on this tour at the Paramount Theater on July 19. Philips has performed over 7,000 comedy shows around the world, including a two-week theater presentation in London’s West End.

Tickets for the Cedar Rapids show are on sale now. Ticket prices start at $ 39. According to the Paramount Theater, each ticket holder must present a physical COVID-19 vaccination card or proof of a negative test (within 72 hours) to obtain admission to the venue. WEIRD AL event. A corresponding photo ID is also required.
