Collection of Large McDonald’s Play Toys in Longview, Texas

Earlier this week I had the privilege of chatting with Ethan Langley, he is the owner of American RV Restoration in Longview, Texas. Recently, the A&E television network visited his business, as he will appear in an upcoming episode of ‘Shipping Wars’. But while chatting with him about the upcoming show, I found out that Ethan also has one of the best item collections in East Texas as he has quite a few large toys that were once used in the playground at the locations of McDonald’s.

We all remember when we were kids and while we also enjoyed fries, the real reason kids got excited about going to the fast food giant is because they had a playground. I remember climbing and sliding, even jumping into the ball pit before the food arrived and my parents said it was time to stop playing and eat your food.

It’s those memories that make these toys so much fun

While I’m not so sure I have a place for McDonald’s toys in my house, my wife would probably say it doesn’t go with our décor, but I still love seeing these toys. It’s the fun memories of growing up that make these great pieces of plastic so enjoyable.

Ethan admits that he often restores parts and sells them

Much like his RV restoration business, Ethan regularly bids for these play toys online, ships them to his location, cleans them, and often resells them. He mentioned that there are a lot of buyers from outside the United States who buy these toys.

This has to be one of the coolest collections in East Texas.
