It looks like the American Dream Mall in North Jersey will soon have competition. Atlantic City is beginning to have an indoor water park.
Not only that, but the water park in Atlantic City will have a retractable roof, according to NJ.com.
That sounds great because you can have plans with your family throughout the year.
It was also stated on NJ.com that the Atlantic City Indoor Water Park will be the first family-friendly venue to be open year-round. Blatstein, CEO of Tower Investments, Inc, told NJ.com that it is the first of its kind in Atlantic City in more than 160 years that the city has existed.
3 CBS Philly also shared that this could “be the largest indoor water park in the world.”
The retractable roofs are really cool and all, but there are other great things you can find at this ISLAND water park.
According to NJ.com, the ISLAND water park will also have “zip lines, a gravity roller coaster and a boardwalk with the typical boardwalk games.”
This place definitely sounds very unique.
The owner of Showboat in Atlantic City told NJ.com that investors should get involved in these big projects, if not, they will regret it. I wish I had enough money to help build fun things like this in Atlantic City. I love Atlantic City.
The ISLAND indoor water park is expected to be completed and ready to go in 2023. So, really in about a year.
