Local Man Wishes Come True As He Opens A New Business, The Ranch

John Bradbury and co-owners Jason Koperniak, Christopher St. Cyr, and Mitchell Bresett purchased the building and equipment, and are reopening the space that used to be The Hot Dog Ranch Thursday with a slightly different name. The new owners didn’t buy the business, John Bradbury said, so now, the restaurant is simply called The Ranch.

People have been wondering in North Adams and have been waiting to see what and when a business would open at the old Hot Dog Ranch Location.

A large “opening soon” banner hangs on the building and Thursday that will be taken down as they finally open.

I have a feeling they are going to have a busy opening day with all the folks who have missed their mini hot dogs. The Ranch will be opening on January 27th. The four bought the equipment and building but did not buy the name.

The Hot Dog Ranch which has been at this location has been closed since late August.

Much of it will remain the same. The space still will have the sports feel to it, and if you have missed your favorite staff who used to work at the Hot Dog Ranch, some of the same staff will be working at The Ranch now. The Ranch will feature a full bar, and soon will offer keno.

Some favorites are still there so in addition to chopped onions, sauerkraut, mustard, and ketchup, there are extra topping choices on the menu like beef chili sauce, warm cheese sauce, and hot pepper relish, also added is chili, chowder, and chicken wings.
