Sainsbury’s launches its first ever organic veg box

Sainsbury’s is launching its first SO Organic British vegetable box, just in time for Organic September. The limited-edition boxes, available until October 13, are packed with a variety of six different SO Organic vegetables for £ 7.

Sainsbury’s SO Organic Veg box features British vegetables packaged in a recycled cardboard box.

There are six vegetables in each box, including the main products: carrots, leeks and potatoes, while the remaining three vegetables will vary depending on the best products in season at the time.

In addition to a whole-head brassica, ranging from broccoli, cauliflower, or cabbage, customers will also receive a seasonal vegetable that can range from round zucchini, regular zucchini, or zucchini.

Cavolo Nero, a loose leaf Tuscan cabbage or kale, can also be found inside the box.

Sainsbury’s was the first UK supermarket to launch its own organic range over 30 years ago and has launched the new SO Organic Veg Box to help make the cost of buying organic more affordable.

Rebecca Sargent, Producer Producer for Fruits and Vegetables at Sainsbury’s, said: “As UK supermarkets pioneering organic with our own brand range, we are very excited to announce our new SO Organic UK Vegetable Box in time for September Organic. . We want to show our customers the best of our organic offering and highlight an easy way to switch to organic products. Here at Sainsbury’s, we want to help everyone eat better, which is why our SO Organic British Vegetable Box is a convenient and inexpensive way to incorporate a wide variety of vegetables into your meals and experiment at home. “

Sainsbury’s customers can get their hands on the boxes at 25 stores across the country, as part of the trial that runs through October 13. After the test, the supermarket is looking to launch the box in another 25 stores starting on September 22, depending on demand.
