CAN BITTER KOLA PREVENT MEASLES?

Bitter kola has been used for a long time in Africa to treat viral infections and other infections, such as colds, flu, bronchitis, liver disorders and throat infections. Since measles is a viral infection, there are chances that bitter kola which was used by Africans to cure and treat Ebola during the out break could also be used to treat and prevent measles. Traditionally, the nuts are distributed by Africans who call themselves “medicine men,” even though they are not real doctors. However, real doctors in African have studied the properties of bitter kola and have determined that it stops viruses like the Ebola virus and measles virus from spreading inside the body. There is hope amongst the scientific community that a cure can be made from these properties, but so far it has not been done yet.
