Christmas turkey order deadlines for Tesco, Asda, Aldi and more

These are the deadlines for Christmas turkey orders from major supermarkets this December.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a traditional festive dinner with all the trimmings.

By 2021, supermarkets have done their best with shelves offering everything from a packet of truffle-flavored pork stuffed turkey to a chicken crown stuffed with pork, leek, bacon and thyme.

Supermarkets have different click-and-pick turkey order dates, online deliveries, and in-store collections; here is a helpful guide to help you.

Sainsbury’s

The fresh turkeys will be available for delivery beginning December 20.

To reserve your fresh turkey, you can reserve online for the Christmas delivery space or reserve for store pickup.

All Sainsbury’s Christmas orders must be booked by midnight on December 16, 2021.

People wishing to pick up their fresh turkey from the Sainsbury’s store can do so on December 22, 23 and 24.

Morrisons

Morrisons has fresh turkeys available for delivery starting in mid-December, including this extra large 5-6.5kg whole turkey from The Best range.

For turkey orders online, customers can reserve standard delivery slots to arrive before December 19 (subject to availability).

Delivery pass holders will have priority for Morrisons holiday deliveries between December 20 and 24.

The earliest in-store pickup date for ordering turkey, like Morrisons Great Whole British Turkey, is Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Customers will have three days to pick up their turkey order.

Asda

Asda’s Food to Order turkeys must be in customer’s online basket by 10pm on December 15 for deliveries and, for Click and Collect orders, between December 21-23.

Currently, the Christmas time slots are open for deliveries from December 19 to 23.

Certain days and times will be limited due to high demand.

Asda has a variety of standard frozen and fresh turkey joints, as well as delicacies like the extra special roast in the Norfolk Bronze Large Turkey Crown bag.

Other Asda options include the Extra Special Turkey Pack with Truffle Flavored Pork Stuffing, Extra Special Turkey Wellington, Extra Special Roast Turkey Crown in the Bag with Pork, Honey and Stuffing and Extra Special Vegan Style Turkey Roast (cool).

Tesco

Tesco Turkey orders are available for pickup or delivery between December 20-23.

If you order turkey online, your Tesco order must be placed before December 14 at 11:45 p.m.

Tesco has a variety of other Christmas meat options, from duck to a chicken wreath filled with pork, leek, bacon and thyme.

Any product from Tesco’s Festive Food To Order range must be recalled by December 14.

But other options, including a fresh British turkey wreath and Aldi’s organic whole capestone bronze turkey, will go on sale from December 19.

Some turkeys will be available only in the store.

All turkeys purchased online must be ordered by December 15th.

Drop-offs for some turkey options will run until December 23.
