Live Christmas trees can sometimes be a hassle to dispose of, but if you’re looking for a free solution that helps the environment, Franklin County has opened its free recycling center.

Franklin Co.’s Annual Solid Waste Tree Recycling is now open in Big Cross. Now you can start recycling your “ALIVE / DEAD” Christmas trees and other trees and branches of similar size.
Remember to remove all lights, decorations and anything else other than natural material. Trees will be cut down and used on the Big Cross trails and on the disc golf course.
