Get A Free Chicken Sandwich in Area Code 870 on April 14th Only

Did you know that Thursday it’s “870 Day”? What’s an “870 Day” you ask? Believe it or not, April 14 is the day area code 870 came about and split off from area code 501 back in 1997, giving southeast Arkansas its own area code. Quick, grad some noise makers and balloons, it’s time to celebrate.

To celebrate 870 Day our friends at participating Southeast Arkansas McDonald’s restaurants are giving away FREE Crispy Chicken Sandwiches to their customers. This deal is only a one-day deal available only through the McDonald’s app, no purchase is necessary. Local owner-operators are picking up the tab to celebrate their communities.

“We love our community and wanted to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers in a big way,” said local McDonald’s Owner-Operators Steve and Celia Montgomery. “If you haven’t tried our Crispy Chicken Sandwich yet, it’s a great opportunity to come try one on us! If you have, we hope you’ll join us too as we celebrate our Arkansas communities.”

870 Day is just one in a series of area code-specific celebrations coming to communities across the ArkLaTex in 2022. Just one of the many ways your local McDonald’s owner-operators can give back to their communities, including ongoing support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Remember, this is an app-only deal, you must use their app to take advantage of it.

We only have one McDonald’s in Texarkana on the (870) Arkansas side of town. However, there are several in the surrounding cities all over southeast Arkansas:

  • Hope
  • ashdown
  • Queen’s
  • Nashville
  • Magnolia
  • fordyce
  • Arkadelphia
  • glenwood

You know me, anytime I get a chance to point out a free-food opportunity to you, I’m going to. I can’t have one right now while still being serious about my diet, but you have one for me and tell me how delicious it was.

Who love ya!
