What an amazing transformation. The old Quick Chek, on Route 31 in Pennington, is now Lakeside Café & Liquors. You’re going to want to stop by and check it out. I can’t wait to try it.
The new venue is described on its website as follows: “Our coffee shop and liquor store offers a fun, nostalgic atmosphere that provides the convenience of allowing our customers to explore great wines, spirits, and a great selection of cold beers and water.” mineral while enjoying a morning coffee. or nitro from our coffee bar. Lunch and dinner offer chef-inspired sandwiches, entrées, and a large selection of gourmet cheeses, breads, and sides perfect for eating, taking out, or enjoying on the patio overlooking Lake Hiahilia.”
Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, alcoholic beverages, and more…there’s plenty to choose from. The menu includes pastries, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, wraps, toasted toast (see below), salads, subs, tavern pizza and more. Sounds like my kind of place. I will have to keep coming back to try different menu items. Hahaha. Everything looks delicious. Gather your family and friends to eat, drink and have fun. This could be your new hangout.
