Wentzville Man Injured In 3-vehicle Accident In Morgan County

A Wentzville man was injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred Friday in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2017 Ford F-350, driven by 21-year-old Carlin J. Zimmerman of Versailles, was traveling on US 50 at Morgan County Drive behind an eastbound 2016 Hyundai Elantra. this, led by 59- Brian L. Van Leer of Wentsville, age 19, at 4:55 p.m. Marshall’s Corey A. Thieman. The front of the F-150 then hit the front of the Hyundai.

Van Leer sustained serious injuries and was transported to Columbia University Hospital by PCAD.
Van Leer and Thieman were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, while Zimmerman was not, according to the report.

The Ford F-350 sustained minor damage, while the Ford F-150 and Elantra were totaled and towed by Don’s Truck Towing of Sedalia.

Morgan County deputies assisted the Patrol.
